You have two options if you want to claim refugee status in Canada. The first is to obtain a TRV (tourist visa) to Canada and then claim refugee status once you arrive in Canada. The second option is to move out of your country to another country. Once you have moved to the other country, you will need to be officially recognized as refugees by UNHRC or a similar referral organization.

Good luck.

You will need to show strong ties to your home country to be approved for a TRV.

It really depends on the situation. Your question is too general to answer.

Hi,
Actually I was asking about the case mentioned above, where a grandfather killing everyone in his family.
It's reminds me a similar post I have read in other forum.
Thanks

An obvious question is missing here. If a murder has happened in your family, the first logical step is to contact local authorities and ask for investigation or protection if you see danger comming from one individual.
Even in Canada, there are cases where murder is reported. And there were even cases of serial murders.
So what have you done in order to protect rest of your family? Did you contact local police? Was investigation done. Was protection done.
Your own country authorities are the first place where you shall turn to.

Nothing we havent done. our country is full of corrupt authorities, we have reported several time but the police has failed to help us we have tried to access some media stations to alarm about the tought situations we are passing through but we have faie to get amd remedy. so what do you we have to do

Again, you have two options. Get visitor visas and apply for asylum when you get to Canada. Move out of your home country and be recognized as refugees by UNHCR.
