I had applied my visa on August 3rd, and i didn't require to do biometric as i had applied in 2019, as of now i didn't receive any update update on my application, but today i got changes showing we are reviewing your application. i have applied in Kuwait, my nationality is Pakistani. and the time at applying visa it showed 61 days it has been over those days, assuming it isn't accurate. i have a decent travel history travelling to Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, UAE, Turkey, Germany and Georgia. the reason for my visit it to meet my parents and sibling they are PR holders over there, they had sent me a letter as well and i had attached all documents proving that they are my parents, i had given my estimate travel dates for November, even that is about to get over. when can i expect there answer and also do i have higher chances of getting my visa approved? i haven't been able to meet my parents over 4 years and in middle of corona i wasn't able to apply visit.

Kuwait processing times are 211 days so expect some time. Good travel history for a TRV is UK, US, NZ and AUS. The biggest issues are that you are single, don’t live in country of citizenship, on a work permit, and all your family is in Canada. Canada wants to you have strong ties to country of citizenship and if you are working in Kuwait then you don’t have ties. You may want to see if you can meet your family in a European country as processing may take a long time.

Ok. Given your parents are PRs and sibling lives in Canada, you have no family in Kuwait. Processing is 211 days so if no response by then, raise a webform.
