I applied for Permanent Residence (Inland Family class Spouse) on February 2019

Application received by IRCC- Feb 19th,2019
AOR- April 4th, 2019
OWP APPROVED- May 23rd, 2019
CSQ APPROVED, SENT TO IRCC- July 2nd
ADR( Passport renewal request) July 14th, 2019
AOR 2 - September 30th
New Passport submitted to IRCC- October 8th

On January 9th, 2020 there was an update on my application:

“We are processing your background check...”

I was under the impression that a medical exam was requested before a BGC. I haven’t received a request for a medical so far. Any clarity on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

MR "generally" comes in the early stages of the application. Sometimes they come at the end. Every case is different its nothing to worry about.

Hello, did you get your pr? I have submitted mine in 2019 Feb, my husband’s sponsership got approved in July 2019, they finished my background check in June, now they are still reviewing my eligibility.

No, unfortunately not yet. It has been in process for over 17 months and I haven’t received an update since october 2019. I believe because of the pandemic everything has been delayed
