Hi. I am a refugee in South Africa. I would like to know what chances I have got to move to Canada.

As my life and family life is threatened by the law enforcement police officers that destroied our business and arrested my husband for no clear reason.( Following current issues in SA)

It's funny how both parties , the criminals and the government attackes us refugees in different ways.
No human rights for foreigners in this country.

Plus we can't go back to our motherland for security reasons.

Any suggestions are highly appreciated.
Thank you In advance.

You would either need to be resettled here by UNHCR, or somehow get a visa to come to Canada and claim asylum here. Getting a visa will be close to impossible for you.

There are no real good options here.

Well the UN, has stopped registering new POC's as they have so many people on watitng list.

How about getting a work visa ? And could u pls elaborate the reason why u said getting visa is impossible ?

Receiving any sort of visa to Canada will be difficult to obtain, given your status as a refugee. It’s assumed your intention will be to remain in Canada. Attempting to claim refugee status after you’ve claimed in another country will likely be pointless and result in a refusal.

Alternately, there is always the option to immigrate through one of the available programs (skilled worker, Express Entry or provincial nomination). I’d suggest looking at these options if you are actually looking to resettle somewhere else.
