Harper govt know what they are doing....All they just have to do is to amplify their rhetoric among white voters about refugees and immigrants from minority countries and go to minority community telling them they will allow their grand parents and great grand parent into Canada if they vote Tories.....They are playing the divide and rule card very well. I hope people see what they truly stand for....Despicable!

This is an important article, thank you for posting it. Harper's government treats immigrants and immigration like Republicans do welfare recipients. It is important to actually know statistics, such as the cost of the refugee health program and how these fit into Canada's broader humanitarian goals.
