Hey guys! I became PR with a great help of this forum and I'm very thankful to all of you. My life turned into a rollercoaster a while ago and I need an advice again.
I'm from Poland and my Canadian bf sponsored me and I became PR in August 2014. Unfortunately, after 7,5 years of relationship, in December 2016 I discovered he was cheating on me for 2,5months while I was busy in my part-time job and full-time college. I was devastated and very depressed, I came back to my family in Poland, but since April I moved to the UK.
I had conditional PR, but 2 years passed so my PR is full now.
The thing is, I am in a new relationship now. I wish to bring my new bf to Canada with me, we are applying for International Experience Canada for him. Later I wish to sponsor him so he can get his PR. My question is now, how does Immigration Office look at this kind of cases? I was sponsored before, broke up and I want to sponsor someone else. As I read, 5 years must pass since I was sponsored.. so since I received my PR or since I applied for common law sponsorship? Also, are there any ways to improve the application in the future? Should I describe what happened in the past, show any proves my ex was cheating? I know this kind of case can get a red flag. Any advice?
I'll just add that I and my new bf are friends for over 10 years now, we share an apartment and bills for 6 months.
