Hello friends !

I am Provincial Nominee and my case go also through Warsaw Office.

I know there are some difference in timelines for Skilled Workers(FSW) and Provincial Nominee, even for the same immigration office.

Is here someone also PNP applicant who waiting Medical Request from Poland?

***IMPORTANT**

Hi All,
for all of those who wll attend the interview read this I found it on the CIC website, it helps to understand what is expected from the interviewer and they are looking for.....

------
Conducting interviews
This section contains policy, procedures and guidance used by CIC staff. It is posted on the CIC website as a courtesy to stakeholders.
The following steps should be followed when conducting interviews:

Step 1
Read the file in advance
Stay focused on why an interview is required and what is needed to make a decision
Gather any tools that need to be consulted in order to make a decision.

Step 2
Establish rapport
Greet the applicant
Put the client at ease: help them through the logistics e.g.
do they follow you?
where do they sit?
do they have special needs?

Step 3
Explain the purpose and format of the interview
Explain the officer's role and authority
Explain how the interview will be conducted
If using an interpreter, ensure that the applicant and interpreter understand each other
Ensure that the applicant understands the officer and the process.

Step 4
Elicit information
Try to put the applicant at ease: most people will be more forthcoming if they feel relaxed
Keep vocabulary simple and sentence structure uncluttered
Avoid jargon, rephrase questions if it appears that the applicant has not understood a question
Maintain the dignity of the applicant
What to ask:
ask only what cannot be determined from the file
use the application form as a guide
be alert for inconsistencies, gaps and evasiveness. Personal questions are acceptable as long as the officer is respectful.

Step 5 Verify the client's information
Probe by asking closed questions about details that the client should be able to provide
Use closed questions in a cross-examination style
Observe the client's demeanor as they answer
Remain neutral and objective
Maintain rapport during this phase of the interview.

Step 6 Give the applicant the opportunity to refute/explain
Remember the principles of procedural fairness
Give the applicant reasonable opportunity to:
respond to the decision
clarify facts
provide new information or
question the officer's interpretation of the facts
Don't be reluctant to change a decision if the applicant presents new, relevant information
Explain any conditions of acceptance
Explain the reasons for a refusal
Explain the requirements and why the applicant does not meet them.

Step 7 Explain what happens next
If something is required of the applicant, write this down for them
Ask only for additional information/documentation if it is necessary in order to make a decision
Inform the client what will be done next
As applicable, inform the applicant that they will also receive a written explanation
Inform the applicant if humanitarian and compassionate consideration, rehabilitation, etc., will be sought
Make clear who has the authority to make the decision.

Step 8 Answer any questions
Give the client an opportunity to clarify what was said and make sure they understand
Give counseling: refer the applicant to authoritative sources
Avoid giving information you are not certain of.

Hello ladies and gentlemen,
How did you pay the 490$ for RPRF (Right of Permanent Residence Fees)?
As I see on Warsaw VO site:

Applications made in person or by post or courier must include the following as evidence of payment:
deposit acknowledgement - stamped and initialed by the Post Office; and completed Cash Deposit form (PDF * 122 KB) along with evidence of your payment
OR
money order, bank draft or certified cheque payable to “Receiver General for Canada” in Canadian Dollars drawn on a Canadian bank. Please write your name and address on the reverse of your banking instrument. Canadian Dollar cash is accepted only for application made in person.
If among you are people who chosed the bank draft, please let me know if you wrote your name and address on the back side of the cheque as it is mentioned. The bank workers advised me to send some additional info sheet instead of placing some data on the cheque itself. They say I kinda might spoil it ))). So I am confused a bit.

Hey dear,
may I answer you in this thread?

I myself used DD for application fee and CIC encashed it alright. I didn't put my name or address anythere, sent it as it was issued by the bank only. For the same reason - it wasn't proper for any additional information to be written on it.

Yes, in my case DD went together with CIC's fee payment form with all my personal data required.

Probably you can take the clerc's advise and enclose something of that sort to your cheque?

Thank you for the comment.

Bank suggested attaching to the cheque a copy of the "Demand Draft Application Form", which has my name and address mentioned on it. I guess I will follow this advice.

But if someone else has any other experience, please share it here.

I have no idea on how they do this. Together with my medicals I also got a request to submit some additional documentarion. In my case all pages of our passports as well as statement of my social insurance contributions for specific period. Also request to pay 490$ for each applicant. Perhaps tax statement is for a verification purpose. I have no idea if that's a standart practice to ask for this or somewhat case specific request. Would like to know if others who got medicals before me were requested to submit this.

Can_LTU first of all congratz for your achievement. :)

Now I am coming to your query. Asking for tax statements and pay slips is a standard practice to verify whether the annual remuneration you mentioned in your reference letter matches your tax statements. Moreover, tax statement also shows that you earned your income from legitimate sources and you are a genuine tax payer with no history of tax evasion or money laundering.

I have send my tax statements for three years and pay slips for entire year to make sure that nothing wrong enters into the mind of officer while going through my application. And don't worry, your background checks have been 95% through and remaining 5% will be completed after verifying your tax and pay statements. Cheers to your success and be ready for your PPR after your medicals. ;D

They do this to verify that you were *really* working and getting experience in your field. The social insurance contributions are an excellent proof. It seems that WAW ask for additional documentation together with the MR. E. g. I got a request to update my professional history to include everything from 18 yrs of age, and do the same for my spouse. And of course, we got the request for the copies of all the passports - the VO uses this to check if you have travelled to countries that might be related to security risks, and eventually, if there are 2 free pages to get the visa in.

So good luck with the Meds. The male panel physician in LTU is really nice and helpful.
