I just received my GCMS notes but they are from 4th of November from what I can see they didn't even start process anything except medical which is done... I guess May and April applicants gave me false hope cause now there is no way it could be that fast... I also feel like they did this batch quick and now the next batch will be more slow... I am sorry for my negative thoughts but I am tired of being apart from my wife.

It's okay! I think all of us feel negative about this process at some point. I think that there was a really quick batch, but even the batch before was processed in 6-8 months in Warsaw, which is a little closer to what we should expect! It may seem long, but still better than 13 months

It is an agonizing process, And i feel most countries proces these things in less time than Canada.. We must really be patient and just hope that you get news by the end of the month!

I got an update on my ECAS on permanent residence side, saying that we started processing your application on Dec 2nd...I know it can be considered as AOR2, even I asked the same question on my month`s thread...but was just wondering, does Warsaw office actually send AOR2s or it only make the update...some offices don`t send anything as I came to know...

I believe it is only an AOR2 (unfortunately). Granol may be able to conform this, but he got the notes on his file and after receiving this extra line the file hadn't been started yet. It seems that in recent files, this is how they proceed. There is no was to know whence your file actually gets started

This part of process is extremely inconsistent. I never got my status changed until they contacted for my wife's copies of passport. When my wife sent the passport copies, all of a sudden the eCAS status changed to 'in process'. A week later they asked the passport for visa issuance. The eCAS status indicated the process had started as of May, but the actual status changed end of September. Go Figure!!! LOL

It's done every few months. When I applied in March, it was 8, then it changed to 12 a few months later, and then in August it changed to 13 months. From my understanding your particular process will reflect when you applied, so if it changes it doesn't really change the scenario for you (i.e. shorter or longer timeline). That's how I was explained.

So if i applied in march and it said 8 months thats the time for me ? Even if it changed later for 13 months?

That's what I was told by a few experts in the immigration field... Because as the months were going by I was getting worried, and I was wondering at what point can I do a status check with the VO. I was told at the time of the application whatever the number of months it was indicated, that's how much you have to wait until it is considered out of regular time frame. I guess you are still waiting, eh? You haven't heard anything yet or any sign of movement yet? A friend of mine a few years back didn't hear back from the Moscow VO for about 14/15 months. He then used his MP to contact the VO office and they replied right away and started to see movement and immediate results. Now, I don't recommend doing that yet, but that's a last resort option.

Never heard anything. My status is in process since may. Now im at 7 months...so hopefully in Jan i will get sponsored if not i will ask for my case notes i guess since 8 months will pass in Jan. Time should updated every 3 months and its weird they never updated it yet.
