However, given the ridiculously low number of applications going into this office as compared to, say, New Delhi, one would expect substantially shorter processing times. And the fact that their official number of months for Warsaw has been on a continuous uptrend indicates that not enough effort is being put in.
Couldn't agree more.

Don't worry guys, I am sure they are doing all they can - Warsaw has surprised (positively) many people that applied through it to date, almost always being quicker than the given processing times. So remain hopeful :) We got our AOR2 last week, so now the wait truly begins :) Best of luck to all of you!

Thanks for the kind word Lady_Ashka,

Of course they're working, and are probably just overwhelmed with a great deal of other stuff at the Embassy.
As for Spousal Sponsorship applications... Ours took us about two months or so - just to collect all the necessary information, get all the documents translated and certified, fill out the forms, write a 5-page novel ;D about our relationship, and then get it all finally organized with 5 dozen photographs, a few dozen boarding passes and railway tickets, cross-references and stickers etc. in the hopes of making it somewhat simpler for the officer to digest when they look at it.
And the package came out at just a little over 2.6kg when I mailed it. Lotsa information to crunch through, so I cannot even imagine how long it takes an officer to read and validate all of that data, and then put all the pieces together to evaluate whether the relationship is true.
But then, I've read posts on this forum where people would've submitted packages with over 5kg of stuff, - if I was that officer, I could imagine myself banging my head against the wall ;D

Ours was less than two pounds, even with additional papers sent later. :) We'll see how it goes.

Perhaps your case is more straightforward. Ours is common-law, so it required more proof of duration and co-habitation.
We could've included even more evidence, but then it seemed like too much would also be very difficult to digest.

haha exactly, we're common law too, so I wanted to make sure we provide them with as much evidence as possible :) I assumed that they would just shred whatever they don't need!

Best of luck to you guys :)

Hi Everyone,

I have a question.

We are Indian moved here in Poland. We want to transfer our file from India to Warsaw, Poland. Anyone know how to transfer the file?

Its for spousal case.

You can not transfer your file. CIC determines where it will be processed.

Are you sure on this because I saw few people who changed the country but don't know the process.
Yes I am sure. It is at the discretion of CIC. You can ask, no harm in asking. It may happen that CIC see's the value in your request but unlikely.

because if they don't change. it will be a problem for us. I have written to High commission let see what they will say because we left like almost 6 months ago.
