Congratulations!!! It is exactly as I predicted ;)

We got PPR this morning!

Hi all:)

Glad to see that like us everyone else is well on their way in the process. From our experience, the Warsaw office works quickly. We officially applied for my wife's visa in very early Feb 2016 (I'm a Canadian living in PL, she's Polish and our kid already has both her passports). Just over three months later we received the passport request letter - today, actually :)

I have a question concerning STEP 3, namely part 3.3: Two (2) photos of yourself and of each accompanying family member, does that include me and my daughter, who is Canadian?

I always found this part of the application confusing as we're technically only applying for my wife. Actually, it was people on this forum that led us through that part of the process - meaning what to do and how to list "Canadians" in the family/dependents part. I figured asking on here would be ten times faster than getting in touch with someone at CIC.

Cheers

Hello PO78

So we are in identical situations i see :)
Feb 2016 and you already have a passport request :o
I applied at the beginning of November and still waiting..
I omitted my daughter all together from the application process, she has both her PL and CDN passports already as well.
I believe the photo part is only for family members being sponsored. If you and your daughter are both Canadian citizens you don't need to provide any photo's. Only the sponsored spouse.

Cheers and good luck :)

Hey! PO78!
It applies only to the principal applicant. I sent just pictures of mine, cause my husband (the sponsor) and our daughter are citizens of Canada already.
I found it confusing too. :D

looks like Warsaw VO is working hard to process all aplications ASAP! Very happy for all of you who have already got their PPR in the past two weeks :) hoping mine is next!

Even though Poland is visa-exempt you received a PPR?

Very fast VO! Even on international forums people are posting approvals in 4 months!

May I ask guys, in combinations of a Polish and Canadian common law marriage, would you describe to me what exactly you:

1. submitted with your application - what kind of evidence and how much, how many letters, pictures, bills, etc; and whether you lived in Canada together during the process or not
2. What 'red flags' do you think there were with your application and whether there was an interview?
3. What did you have to take with you to land? is some kind of proof of funds required?

Thanks :)
