Okay, so May 24 we received a request from Sydney to provide fresh police checks (long story why the ones we provided initially had expired, not our fault). It took me a week to apply for one from Russia and one from the UK. I asked for the UK one to be send to a close friend of mine within the UK so he can send me a scan that I can later upload. It's faster than international mail. He sends me the PDF, and then it hits me that I accidentally stated both my current and maiden last names as my current last name. The instructions on CIC website clearly state that the police checks must contain all my previously used names. So I had to reapply for the UK police check on Thursday. Oh well haha.

And the reason for the mistake was that I filled out the application like 10 times over a week since there were payment issues...

Fortunately I have until 20-24th July to send in the scans. I should have everything ready within 2 weeks from today.

So I got my inital police check from Russia in October 2018. We sent the package in January and it was received by Sydney January 17th. Then they missed the police check and returned the package to us. We immediately sent it back with an explanation letter, very politely telling them that they're unprofessional. So they received the package on March 27, and the rest is in my signature

We applied November 21, 2018
AOR was January 29, 2019, in Sydney, Nova Scotia,
On February 18, I was accepted as a sponsor
Biometrics was February 13
Medical was February 19

Then the file was transferred to Warsaw, AOR was May 3
We have heard nothing since.
We have tried to make a GCKEY account and link our application to it but have not had any luck. No matter what information we submit, it tells us there is no account to link to. We have tried sending many emails to support but they just tell us it should work. We follow the advice they send us but nothing works and when we contact them, they just send us the same information as last time.

Thanks, I looked at the post from alaria and tried but had no luck. Just keeps saying there is no application to link to. I will try again tomorrow.

1. What are the chances of us being called in for an interview?
2. If we do get called in, does it have to be in Warsaw or can it take place, say, at the Canadian embassy in Russia (I live in Russia) or VFS global or something? Or, what if I'm visiting my husband in Canada when I get called in? Can it take place in Canada?

What do you think about the interview? there is no point. It will be in Moscow. You can reschedule your interview. If you already have visa to Canada 99% you not going to have an interview.
