Hello. My brother is wanting to apply as a student in a public university here in Duncan, BC. He is married, but separated. He is currently in a common-law relationship with the mother of his 1-year-old daughter. Divorce is not accepted in the Philippines and annulment will be a very expensive and lengthy process. Will it be possible to bring his common-law and daughter with him to Canada if he becomes an international student? What will he need to do? Thanks for the information.
