Hello All ,

I studied here(Canada) for 8 months I got 1 year of work permit, I worked for whole 1 year in my own field of profession and applied for my PR under CEC in Sep 2014, but I can not work now because my work permit has already been expired, and I am on visitor visa :(, I have given interview in one of the company in Canada, they filled for my LMIA(labour market impact assessment) in Sep 2014 , but they are saying it will take atleast 6 months to process it >:(, and I don't know what to do?

any suggestion from you guys would be highly appreciated,

Hi

Unfortunately there is not much you can do, if you had your AOR you could have applied for a BOWP but as your current permit has expired and you don’t have your AOR that option I believe is closed.

At least you have an employer who is willing to file for an LMIA, although it’s a long time it may be your only option.

Thx

Thanks bud, I appreciate your answer

Now this brings me to very important decision that can I go back home and wait till I get my PR or Till I get my LMIA? I hope that its not going to impact my PR process if I leave Canada in the middle of application, I mean if application is filled from Canada or from home country, in both situation I am applying under Canadian Experience Class?

You can leave Canada. This won't impact your CEC application.

Hey scylla,

Thanks, but I must admit that I am little worried , what you think is it a good move to go back home ? or should I stay here? because just recently I applied for visitor visa extension, and they gave me visitor visa till Jan 2015 just 3 months of visitor extension(this was second time I applied), what does that mean?
