i came back to Canada from pak in june 2011 sponsored my husband Oct 2011 his medical is goin to get expire this august 2012. And its going to be a year in june since i came back now .. i want to go back and come with him when he gets his visa can i do that?? i read about it that sponsored person has to be in there country when there spouse comes is that true? and i am a Canadian citizen now its just been too long since i've been away from my hubby and now that i go there i dont want to come back alone i want to come with him but i don't know if i could do that... would that create any problems while the process is on ?? please let me know any expert advice on it !

As a citizen, you may be residing anywhere while sponsoring your spouse. If you are going to Pakistan for a lengthy period, then you may be asked to submit proof of your intention to re-settle in Canada once your spouse's visa is granted, so be prepared to address that concern if it arises.

what are the proofs , could a job offer be considered as proof ,
my agent has submited a lease agreement . Is that good enough ? I 'm 2 months in process now.

thanks

1. A lease.
2. A job offer.
3. Plans to attend school for yourself, your spouse, or your children if applicable.
4. Plans to attend language instruction for your spouse and children if applicable.
5. Letters from friends and family offering accommodation or other support on your return, if that is the plan.
6. Plans to depart your foreign home: notice to employer of yourself (if applicable) and your spouse, plans to ship your belongings and sell your home and other possessions, notice to your children's school that they will be emigrating, cancellation of work/residency visas etc.

Think outside the box. If you can't show much about your return to Canada, show you're not staying in the foreign country.
