Hi All,

I want to migrate to Canada with my family (spouse + child). I believe that with 330 CRS score, only option is PNP. The CRS score is considering my and my wife's age, work experience, education, IELTS etc.

I have 13+ years of experience in India as Software Developer. My age is 36.

Please let me know what are my chances.

That is low. Not many options without a job offer (difficult to get without work authorization). The NFLD program only accepted 200 or so people and opened and closed within a week. Also don’t know what NOCs they selected.

Thanks @ourcanadavisa & @Naturgrl for early reply.

I have not considered French language as an option for now. May be Better IELTS score + French can take me to 350. Also, I checked that Software Development is part of priority skill list for NHLD

I also understood from multiple threads here that getting job is next to impossible for someone like me.

Let me know if there are chances for NFLD or other province.

For the NFLD skilled worker program you need a job offer. As for French, are you nearly fluent? Basic French will not give you points. You want to be at a B2 Level.

No you need to research each PNP. All have different requirements. Job offer is required for some provinces, or NOC, or CRS score etc.
Can you or anyone from this forum help me find a PNP where job offer is not a pre-requisite and CRS score of 330 stands a chance ?

I thought I can apply to common PNP and if it matches any province requirement, then I can get the invitation from there. It feels with CRS score 330 even that will be difficult for common PNP. Since PNP was a fallback in case normal express entry is not possible with low CRS score. I have got some responses from immigration lawyers who says I have very strong chances. Seems it is just so that I avail their services.

Few options - Alberta PNP has a min cut off of 300 points and they select directly from EE pool. Job offer is not required. Unfortunately, due to covid situation they are picking only inland candidates currently in the draws.

If you have any connection to Manitoba, the MPNP Skilled Workers Overseas stream. is suitable. You will still need to have score 60 points on their points assessment grid to qualify. You can use this Manitoba points calculator to estimate your points -> https://www.immiboards.com/tools/manitoba-pnp-points-calculator/

Without any connection Manitoba is off the list. You can also manually check point factors with https://www.immigratemanitoba.com/immigrate-to-manitoba/swo/swo-eligibility/

If your NOC code is NOT on excluded occupation list of Saskatchewan, you can also try for Saskatchewan PNP. Again, a min score of 60 points is required on their points assessment grid to be eligible. You can use this calculator -> https://www.immiboards.com/tools/sinp-points-calculator/

Check your NOC code with SINP Excluded occupation list: https://publications.saskatchewan.ca/api/v1/products/102709/formats/113851/download

If your NOC is not on excluded list, then SINP seems ideal. If you score 60 or above on points assessment grid, you will be eligible. However note that if your score is below 70 it may not be possible to receive an invitation as the competition is fierce.

I strongly suggest that you research all available PNPs to get first hand information. In your case honestly PNP should not be a fallback plan, it should be the plan. Even with French, you will not be able to hit 470+ which is the current open stream cut off in EE. On the other hand French may dramatically increase your chances for some PNP's .

All the best.

Hi @vik7,

Thanks for the detailed reply.

I have no connection in manitoba.

For SINP, My occupation in not in exclusion list and I am having 68 points. So very thin chance there.

I will check for more PNPs. Thanks again.

Hello,

Can I send my EOI to 2 provinces at the same time under skilled workers category? I am torn between NFLD and SINP.

TIA
