Once you withdraw from your program, it will automatically be invalidated, you don't have to cancel anything. Your TRV will still be valid.i am going to stay in canada for the first semester (JAN 2020) than i will be going back to india so can anyone tell me how can i cancel mt study permit

My gic account is activated so still can i get refund? You dont need to cancel permit, GIC refunds depend on the bank rules so talk to them how to get refund.

Did you already got the study permit itself or just the approval letter? the actual permit is issued at the Port of Entry (airport) upon arrival. So if it's just the letter you have I don't think you need to do anything but not show up to study.are you sure i dont need to cancel my study permit ?
