Want to apply for canada skilled worker class

Dear All,
I want to know more about the immigration to canada as an skilled worker .My bf is in US since may 2009 .He went on J1 Visa and got an approval for H3 Visa till dec 2010 .
> hotel management degree of 3 yrs + 6 months industrial training.

IS HE QUALIFIED TO APPLY AS AN SKILLED WORKER?
Which consulatel will be good and will process his application faster Delhi or buffallo as he is in washington ?
how long it will take ?
should we get married after he recievs hisTEMPORARY PR OR SHALL WE GET MARRIED BEFORE HE GETS IT ( AS WE ARE CONFUSED IF IT IS GOING TO BE AN QUESTION THAT HE HAS MORE DEPENDENTS) :-[
IF WE GET MARRIED AFTER HIS pr THEN HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET HIS WIFE TO CANADA?

Hi,

1. Under the fast track system, it won't make much diff whether applied from Buffalo or Delhi.
2. Marriage is a personal matter, depends on varied personal factors. Don't link-up that with the PR process.
3. However, with ur wedding, ur mate shall get some added points (ur adaptibility points).
4. Thus, if u need to link both, marriage might be better.
5. No. of dependents, actually don't mean anything, significantly.
6. If u marry later, he'll need to sponsor u. That's another process altogether, takes the same time as any new apps.

g8 people thanks for the info if anybody has more info plz keep updating.Do tell me what will be the documents required? and if apply from India is he suppose to be in india or he can do it from U.S ? IS THEIR ANY AGENT OR TRUSTED REPRESENTATIVE IN INDIA/CANADA/U.S IF ANYBODY HAS TAKEN ANY HELP FROM ANY REPRESNTATIVE OR AGENT FOR THE PROCESS DO LET ME KNOW.
