Waiting for Visitor Visa approval

Currently in the USA on an F1 visa. Indian citizen.

I submitted the application for a visitor visa on 24th August and biometric data on 15th September. I haven't received any update regarding my application and it's been more than 43 days since I submitted my application. I need to get the visa before 15th October. What should I do now? Who do I contact to expedite the process?

So you wait until a decision is made. You applied before the changes to travel on September 7. Since you state you are eligible to travel then you would have stated that you qualify for the Covid exemption.

I don't remember that I mentioned anything related to COVID or uploaded the vaccine record in the application. How can I cross-check this?

If you applied in August, you would have needed to include that you were eligible for a Covid exemption - to reunite with immediate or extended family in Canada. You said you were eligible so assume you were reuniting with family. Here is the link and if your situations has changed, you resubmit.
