Waiting for Renunciation of Indian Citizenship

Hi,

I have applied for the renunciation of my Indian Citizenship and cancellation of my Indian passport for both myself and my 6 year old son on 17-Jul-2018.

I got my Renunciation certificate and cancelled passport by courier (Purolator) on 26-Jul-2018. But my son's Renunciation certificate and passport is not yet back to us. We need his passport for applying OCI Card

Is it normal? Should I wait for 2,3 days more and then call Indian consulate in Vancouver?
