Dear All

I have been a silent member of your forum for quiet some time. I must admit that your discussions are very informative and encouriging for all of us.

I have some querries so please advise.

1.How does Canadian High Commission communicate about step 2? Is it also via email?
2.What else (other than passport) are required at that time?

Thanks a lot for your time.

Hi Goldstar, They will contact you via email for your step 2 and the email will be very detailed explaining all the required stuff…. But just so you know they will require
1. Your passport and a passport for each accompanying family member. The passports must be the same as the photocopies submitted to London in Step
2. Two recent photographs of yourself and two recent photographs of each of your accompanying family members.
3. The Return Address Label on page 3 of this letter, fully completed.

- Chin to crown measured between 25 mm and 30 mm (1” and 1 1/5”)

The two photographs must:
 show a full front view of the person’s head and
shoulders, showing their full face centred in the
middle of the photograph;
 have a plain white background;
 be identical (black & white or colour) -
produced from the same untouched negative, or
exposed simultaneously by a split-image or
multi-lens camera;
 be produced on single weight matte paper;
 measure between 25mm and 30mm (1" and 1
1/5") from chin to crown (see diagram);
 have a finished size of 35mm x 45mm (1 3/8"
and 1 3/4") (see diagram).

Hi Addi,

u just need to send black and white copies (dont send colored copies) of your and your family's passport (information page where u have all the info like name dob etc)

1. Clear photocopies of your passport and the passports of each accompanying family member.
2. Submit only copies of the passport pages showing the passport number, date of issue and expiry, your
photo, name, date and place of birth, as well as any amendments to this information.
3. The photocopies must be from the passports you will use to travel to Canada. If you submit a different
passport in Step 2 than the photocopy submitted in Step 1, then all passports will be returned and you will
have to start again from Step 1.
