We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on October 5, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the New Delhi office. They are pending review.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on May 18, 2012.

hi friends I am sorry for not being so active on forum like earlier but very busy have to finish all tasks soon in 10 days or earlier filling forms is the most of important work and rest tasks are depends on our management skills......so not to worry such as fee, managing fund, medical. But PCC is little bit difficult thing but stay ready with money if you want to expedite it.
I have plan which is helpful to others to prioritize things
Day 1-2
1 Apply for pcc
2 take an appointment for medical
Day 3-5
3 photos if not available and fund proof (they will ask in case of additional family member added after submission of package last time)
4 start filling forms also confirm past forms submitted by us at NDVO so can avoid and correct mistakes
5 RPRF Fees draft
Day 6-8
6 you will be able to collect PCC now
7 get package ready
Day 8-10
8 Recheck the pack and rush to VFS if possible or mail it

Don't forget to keep copy of passports or will be in big trouble

You need the id of sender or else. PCC don't apply in advance they will not accept after 3 months but hopefully all will get medical in 1 month as they can stamp visa in next year quota. I have received mail in pdf from my consultant I will try to copy and paste its content in pm or can here too. Last time I read mail of friend and it was stating MR is not guarantee of visa so don't give up your employment, sell off property and if you have to travel plan don't submit your passports till you return etc etc while mine is different its clear and no such warning I am also unlucky as I need fund proof at this higher rate but I will manage it.

6. Police Certificate: If residence period more than six months since the age of 18 (All). (PCC from the country currently residing must not be
no more than 12 months old & PCC where you no longer reside must be issued after departure from that country or not more than six
months before departure).
7. RPRF: & Funds, proof:
8. Passport photos (write the names and dates of birth of each person on the back of their photograph).
9. Passport/Travel Document:All original current passport and expired passports for each.(Suggested Child passports not issued before 2Yrs)
10. Mailing Address within India

Also suggested to use the services of VFS visa application centres to expedite submission process.

DONT Apply to passport office PCC better to apply at local police station. They accept it and if you apply at passport office it will take more time. They forward it to Local Police Station through DSP / SP Office and then DSP/SP will forward to police station and you need to clear inquiry there. After inquiry report received by SP/DSP office will update passport office and its big cycle. better to apply at local police station to save time you may get it in a week time but remember if you apply at Passport office you need to waste time of 18-25 days if your passport inquiry is not clear.

For districts other than the Punjab:
Applicants should contact the local Senior Superintendent of Police/ Superintendent of Police/ Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner of Police, the Additional Commissioner of Police, or the Station House Officer (Police clearance certificate issued by the Regional Passport Office are also acceptable.
For residents of the Punjab:
Only the Senior Superintendent of Police or the Regional Passport Office may sign a Police Clearance Certificate.
