I am new here and from Bahrain. I have submitted my docs in Abu Dhabi VO last Jan 2, 2013 with LMO and Contract plus application package and payment. I just wanted to ask if the Abu Dhabi VO is sending medical request via e-mail or by plain post mail.

Any info would be highly appreciated.

You are inquiring about Medical Request. Have you received your AOR already?

If you have provided CIO with your email address, they will send every communication (AOR, MR etc,) to your email. If you haven't prvided your email address, then they will send you the communication by postal mail.

Have submitted the complete application package last Jan 02, 2013 with LMO, contract, payment and my original passport as well. However, i randomly clicked any topic and paste my message here wondering if somebody would reply about my queries;

1.) Pertaining to medical requests, would the Abu Dhabi Visa Office reply to me via email ( i have indicated my email address in the form electronically ).

2.) Are they going to return back the passport right away or should i wait until my application is denied or approved?

3.) What does AOR and CIO means?

No, you are fine...I am not getting disturbed.

I am really not clear with your case.

Usually the Canada PR applicants will first get their province approval (Nomination letter) and then file for federal processing. I mean will send the file to CIO (Centralized Intake Office) in Sydney, Nova Scotio. Approximately in two month after CIO received the application, will get the AOR (Acknowledgement Of Receipt). Then after that we will get the MR (Medical Request).

But, looking at your posts, it's completely different. Have you applied for Canadian PR? Or anything else? Sorry, I don't think I provided you enough information.

Sarayu, i didn't get any Canada PR ( does PR stands for Permanent Resident? ) , i think for me it should be Temporary Resident Visa. but anyways, your info was very useful. i mean i had to thank you for the information and reply. I just hope that they will reply to me via e-mail and not by post mail. i will update you for any info.
