I was up just after midnight to check it too, same experience. Will it be available at the Beitish Council today for pick up? And if yes, what do we need to take along? International passport?

If you signed up for pickup, then yes you can go with the ID you provided on the test day. I'm assuming yours was international passport

Okay so for those who haven't see theirs, I advise you use your full legal name as stated on your passport. I initially was using only my first and last name and it wouldn't show up. So I used the full name and here is my result:

L: 8.5
R: 9
W: 8.5
S: 8

Total band: 8.5 :D. I'm so excited!

Thats really good..congratulations..Do share tips
Thanks Rambo...

As for tips, I am not sure what exactly to share but I will try :)

Listening: I listened to a lot of IELTS listening practice tests from Youtube and other sites I could find. On the test day, I zeroed in on that recording and tried to pick up the key words. My goodness, I was more attentive that a deer lol. Try to read the sentences before the recording starts.

Reading: I hate reading :-\. But since you aced it, there's nothing really to say other than I had to go over each passage/paragraph about 2-3 times just to be sure I understood it and was selecting the correct answer. Reading is quite tricky.

Writing: since English language is practically all I know and use, I guess it was not so much of a big deal for me. I wrote a lot of essays in school too. What I can say is practice your tenses and subject agreement, use linking words and conjunctions. I also tried to hit the minimum. For task 1, I think I wrote about 158 words and task 2, I wrote about 260 words (yes I counted my words :p). Try to pick a side for task 2 but acknowledge the strengths of the opposing side you are not choosing (maybe a paragraph). Summarize in the last two to three sentences, why your stance is better.

Speaking: I was so nervous, not sure why but I tried my very best to answer the questions head on without unnecessarily beating around the bush. I watched a lot of speaking videos on Youtube as well. Don't give one or two word answers. Try to elaborate especially in section 1.

I hope this helps. Good luck when retaking it :)

Congrats! Eventually went to the British Council to pick up mine!

L: 8
R: 6.5
W: 6.5
S: 8

Total Band- 7.5.

I didn't see the 6.5 coming at all, imagine my shock!

Should I be excited?
