twentyone said:I just called them now, they said 11th nov. (Monday) was a holiday for them...so its been only 5 working days as of today (Monday, 18th nov.). She said for them to receive wire transfer, it takes 5 working days and another 3 working days to issue the GIC and send the email. She said to call them if we do not receive anything by the end of this week. So we have to wait for this week atleast and call them next Monday.

I made a call on +1 416 866 6430 to make an inquiry for my GIC but they put me on hold for 15 minutes they told me to email studentgic @ scotiabank. Fortunately, before emailing I have received GIC Certificate just now.
