guys i want to know that within how many days generally scotia bank issue us GIC..as i transferred money on last Thursday but didn't received it yet..i am feeling a little bit tensed..??

Same here I also deposited 10,000$ last thurshday. They say it takes 3 working day to issue gic certi.. sat and sun bank remains closed.
probably I wil get gic after 13th november..

its long weekend going on in Canada...so monday also banks will remain close so on tuesday there ur work will be done ...

no it was public holiday in canada yesterday i.e. on 11..although it was sunday yesterday..

Its Remeberance day. Veterans day. My school says its closed. I googled it in Canada and it says that most Banks and businesses of that sort are closed today.
