Wait times on work permit extension

Hey everyone. I'm currently living in Ottawa and have been since Dec 2016. I was granted a 2 year work permit when I arrived. However my British passport expired in May 2018, which meant that my permit could only run until that date, rather than the full two years (Dec 2018)

I have renewed my passport and sent off a extension application (in Alberta). I was wondering if anyone else has done this in the past and how long I can expect to wait for? The extension application was sent in November.

Forgive my stupidity, but if I sent my paper application in November, does this mean it will take 105 days or longer?

Yes. Paper applications takes longer to process than online applications

I did mine online back in July and it came back within 5 weeks. I was living in Alberta at the time.

Hello Everyone I submitted my application November 5 , 2017 and they received my online application by November 6 ,2017 and I just wondering I did not have any update for my application until now , while my co worker applied her application November 10, 2017 she already got her work permit ? I am just curious what happen to my application since the processing now is 60 days for online application do anyone know what exactly what I do, since my work permit gonna be expire February 1,2018?

My WP (same employer) extension was submitted on March 13, 2018. The timeline on the website said 35 days until yday. It changed today to 116 days. I don't understand what this means? They were reviewing applications from February 2018 until yesterday and today suddenly they are reviewing applications from Dec 2017?
