Hi,
We received a rejection yesterday because the officer by mistake considered that my husband lived in the UK while doing his diploma (distance learning) & thus rejected the application as there was no Police certificate from UK.

We sent a CSE yesterday. We have the option to reapply or wait for the CSE. what should we do?

I'd say you should re-apply as well. Some people have gone through your same situation and got their cases successfully re-opened after sending a CSE BUT nobody knows if CIC will accept your explanation so it doesn't hurt to open a new EE profile and re-apply.
I do hope your case gets re-opened though! It must be frustrating to be rejected for such a silly overlook! :(

Good luck!

I would say do both if you have evidance that your husband wasn't studying in UK.. If they re open your file you always can decline new ITA.
