W1 Visa Extention

Hi,
I am Indian Citizen and having Valid Canadian W1 Visa till April 2018. I worked in Canada from April 2016 to Aug 2017 and came back to India, Now my company want me to Join the Canada team again from May end 2018.
As It is not possible for me to go to Canada before April due to my Family issues.
Can I apply the Visa extension from India? Please let me know the procedure.

Hi there,

If your job requires a LMIA then your employer needs to go through that process to get your permit extended. I think for an extension you will need to be in Canada. Or you'll get a brand new permit. (I'm not sure, please await more comments on this)

Just wondering, why haven't you applied for CEC stream with a year and four months of Canadian experience under your belt? Was your title not in the needed NOCs or not skilled enough?
