Hi, I am a Canadian citizen, I have applied for family Sponsorship for my wife sept. 2022. While we are waiting for the application to come through and because processing time has doubled to 2 Years, I applied for a visitors visa for my wife and step son to come visit me for 3 month of which we were refused twice for reasons which seem to me bogus. First reason, too many significant ties in Canada and the 2nd time not enough significant ties in home country. I have spent 500$ plus thus far for just these 2 application. Anyone have any idea why Canada is making it so hard. We have given all the proof asked for. And is there any way to claim this money back?

You cannot get money back if you have received a decision. You can only ask for a refund if the TRV has not been processed (approval or refusal).
