Effective January 1, 2021, we are renewing a temporary public policy that provides more time for temporary residents to apply to restore their legal status in Canada.
Visitors, students and workers whose valid temporary status expired, or expires, between January 30, 2020 and May 31, 2021 will have until August 31, 2021, to restore their status.
This is good news for spouse that are in between status and waiting to hear back from their inland OWP or got their packages returned and lost their status...
