Hi. Can I go to Canada as a visitor and then to apply for Temporary work visa while I am in Canada? What is the chances to get the visa?
 
You would need to find an employer who is willing to offer you a job and who can also obtain an approved Labour Market Opinion before you will qualify to apply for a temporary work permit. It is typically quite difficult to find an employer and the LMO processing takes several months. So your visit may run out before you have a chance to apply for a work permit.

Anyone can Help me. i am visitor right now and currently waiting for LMO that is been filed from my employer its been a month now and we havent heard any news yet. i file for an extension of my visa and it was been approved but only in a limited time (February 2014)
i dont know what to do. i want to wait for my LMO and i want to have work permit. i dont want to be in illegal status here in canada can you please help and give me an advice.
