Hello everyone

Me and my husband is permanent residence. We applied visitor visa for my brother in law and super visa for my mother while I was pregnant. By God grace my mother visa got approved for super visa however my brother in law visa got refused again with the same reason

1. You do not have significant family ties outside Canada. •
2. The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application. •
3. Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable)

We addressed all these things this time it seems like my mom got the visa Same-day and he got refused on same day

We are going to try with recommendations letter hopefully they can consider

Please assist what best I can do to approve his case

How old is your brother? How much in his own funds did he show (yours are not considered)? How long was visit?

He is my brother in law. He showed $17000 in his bank account. The visit we actually mentioned for short time but no date mentioned.

He has been refused before so what were reasons then? Whho are his ties in his home country (spouse and children)? If not spouse and children then he doesn’t have family ties. What is visit for a short time - one week? Are these funds his own (not money in bank from other people but his own income)? You need to give full profile or can’t offer suggestions.

- Ties to home country are a spouse and children if he is over 22. If he is single then ties are difficult to show as he is mobile and his mother has supervisa.
- Funds: his own funds from his own income.
- Length of visit and funds to support a visit: Once you include airfare/insurance/expenses, how much money is left. He can’t show that he is spending all his savings on a visit.
