Visitor visa

Hello experts,

I would like to help my friends get their visitors visa. They are a couple, age 35 with 3 kids who would like to visit Canada for 2 months. They live in Doha and have Pakistani passports. Here are my questions:

1. Can they apply all under the same application?
2. If I apply online from Canada, how is their biometrics gonna work?
3. What is going to make their case strong to get their visas?

1) Yes - same application.
2) They will complete biometrics in their country of residence.
3) They need to demonstrate that have strong ties to their country of residence and have no plans on remainin in Canada long term. For starters, I would reduce the length of their trip to 2-3 week. 2 months is a very long visit and may give CIC the impression they are looking to move to Canada permanently rather than just visit. They should demonstrate proof of employment - including letters from their employers authorizing the time off to visit Canada. They should also demonstrate proof of property rental / ownership and proof they have sufficient funds to pay for their trip to Canada.
