Hi,
If my uncle had applied for refugee status more than ten years ago but was denied. And he went back to his country with his decision before deportation. Can he apply to Canada as a visitor now for a short visit ?

Thank you.

Yes - he can apply. There is no guarantee he will be approved - but he can certainly apply. To increase the chances of being approved, he should include as much evidence as possible that demonstrates he has strong ties to his home country and has no plans to remain in Canada long term.

Thank u for your response. he had gone many other countries , after his visit to Canada. He runs a well established company in his country now. Hope embassy will consider these info :(

They should definitely consider this. Include as much information as you can. Good luck.

His visa will be denied because Canadian immigration has his fingerprints.they will get to know immediatley that this person was a refugee claimant in past.

ofcourse he is going to write it on the application form. He doesn't have to wait till they check the finger prints.

Hi there. Pls i have some question about visit visa. I am a permanent resident here in canada and i want my daughter and my mom to visit me here of course at the same time. I dont know where to start? I mean for my mom is she going to go for super visa or just the regular visitor's visa? And how about my daughter. They will stay for about 2 mos. by the way my daughter is only 7 yrs old. Pls help. And thank you. ??? :-[

Apply for a Super Visa for you Mom. Your daughter you should be able to sponsor, I would get some legal advise for this. Contact the law firm hosting this site they are very good.
