i asking if i get a visiting visa and then before the visa expire can i apply for permanent residence from inside Canada

please advise me

I can't think of any way a visitor can apply for PR and stay in Canada while it processes. I presume that is what your intention was? Look at the website for ways to apply for PR. See what options you have to apply for PR. Most of them involve a job and working for a period of time if you don't go the FSW route. You can't work on a Visitor's visa. You MAY be able to go for interviews and get a job offer (with LMO) while you are on vacation then apply for a work permit.

how long a US citizen stay in Canada?6months? I visited Canada for 4 months Nov 28 to Apr 15 about 4 1/2 months..I came home and worked. I have off until October and plan to visit Canada again Aug 11-Sept22...about 1 month and 1/2..is that allowed? will i have trouble with immigration????
