Hello everyone,
Sorry if my question is kinda redundant but I am really new to that topic. I have been living in Canada for 5 years. This year I applied for PR in the new express entry and just yesterday and I got PPR. Unfortunately, I was planning to get married next month. Now I don't really know what to do:
1. Should I notify CIC that I was planning to get married next month and that I would like to get my spouse added to my file instead of submitting my passport?
2. If I get my PR, should I apply for spouse sponsorship once I get married back home (as outland applicant)? Or
3. Should I ask my fiancee to apply for TRV as a visitor (tourist visa), then we get married back home and travel together (if the visa was approved), then I apply for spouse sponsorship from inside Canada (Inland applicant)?

Your help will be so much appreciated..
Thanks a lot.

Don't do 3.
You must: either get married before you land as a PR (that is, before you become a PR) and tell CIC. Your PR visa will be cancelled and your wife will be added to your file.
Or land, become a PR, then go back home and get married. You can then sponsor your wife. You will have to go back to Canada and stay there to sponsor her, since PRs must be in Canada to sponsor.

Thanks a lot for your response. Am I considered PR once the confirmation of permanent residence is issued? Because once I send my passport, they will issue me a visa and a confirmation of permanent residence letter. Can I still add my spouse as long as I didn't land?
Also, if you don't mind, why do you think that I shouldn't do 3?
Thanks again :-(

You are considered a permanent resident once you land in Canada with your COPR.

If you get married before you land, you must return your COPR to the visa office processing your file - along with a letter explaining that you are now married and all of the paperwork required to add your new spouse to your application.

You can't do #3 because if you get married after you receive your COPR and then travel to Canada together and you become a PR using your COPR (which says you are a single person), you will never be able to sponsor your spouse since you got married before you landed but failed to add her to your file. You will also be committing misrepresentation (lying about your status) which could result in your own PR status being revoked.
