My wife got canada pr she needs to go before 2017 may. Only she got the pr visa. She already updated my details too. But i can't go with her. She can sponsor me after she reached there. Can i apply visitor visa if she is having the pr visa.

By all means you can apply but you will still need to apply and qualify yourself whether your wife has PR or not. In fact your wife having PR could go either way in showing that whilst a visitor that you intend to leave at the end of your visit.
