Hi Friends,

I applied Visitor VISA for my kid (6 Years Old) from Canada itself. I got Visitor Record. Usually, there will be a request from CIC (Canada) to submit the passport for stamping. But my childs case i have received the visitor record.

I hope this will not serve the purpose of multiple entries into Canada if I move out.

Can anyone guide me if you had faced the same scenario?

Thanks in advance.

There is no such thing as a "visitor visa".

You applied for a visitor extension for your kid. Stamping is only required if you apply for a TRV. A visitor record grants your child a "visitor status", the status us void once he leaves the country or until the expiry date on the record.

If you wish to have a "stamp" in his passport you need to apply for a TRV.
