Visitor Visa Renewal from inside Canada

Hi Community,

My mum is here on visitor visa. Her visa expires on 15 April. She entered Canada on 20 Jan, so she has 6 months to stay.

My question is can I apply for a visitor visa renewal from Canada? Please note I am not asking about visa extension or visitor record. She will leave before here 6 months are up. I need a new stamp in her passport for visitor visa for future visits.
If yes, in the visitor visa application, there is a question about countries visited in last 5 years. Should I add Canada in there? as she is still in Canada, what should I put as her end date ?
