Visitor Visa Rejection "Other"

My visa application was rejected today and I am a little confused as to why. No boxes were checked except the "Other" box which then said: Given economic conditions, employment prospects, considering your purpose, economic establishment, I am not satisfied that you would respect the terms of your admission as a temporary resident in Canada.

I provided complete documentation of relationship to my cousin who sent me an invitation letter and pledged full financial support for the 2 weeks stay as well as a confirmed plane ticket and health insurance policy, and also a detailed itinerary for the 2 weeks. Reason for going my cousins wife was recently going through chemo and is in remission and they are having a special 10th wedding anniversary celebration. They also send their NOA for past 2 years showing income of 200,000 CAD, their house papers, job letters, and all family members passports. I wrote a letter for purpose of travel. I own and Manage a farm with my elderly Grandfather who gave an affidavit to support my going as well as statement that I am his sole caretaker and the General Manager of our farm. He supplied his land documents and asset valuation affidavits. I gave my bank statements and had sufficiant funds available for the 2 weeks. I have traveled outside of India previously. I included my police clearance certificate and my Indian ID Cards. I am 25 years old and have been working as the General Farm Manager of our farm and Caretaker of my Grandfather for 7 years.

What can I show to improve my chances if I apply again?

Unfortunately you have to show that you can pay for your whole trip yourself even if your family will pay for the trip in the end. Your visa approval will also depend on your previous travel to countries that require a visa like US, UK, Australia, etc. Having a party is not considered a good reason for travel on top of that. Your chances of getting a visa a not good.

Unfortunately you have to show that you can pay for your whole trip yourself even if your family will pay for the trip in the end. Your visa approval will also depend on your previous travel to countries that require a visa like US, UK, Australia, etc. Having a party is not considered a good reason for travel on top of that. Your chances of getting a visa a not good.

It wasn't just a party which is explained detail in my purpose of travel letter and in their invitation letter that she has been very sick and they had a court weddding 10 years ago and now are having a religious ceremony as well as a reception and I am very close to them as they spend a lot of time here. I was also going to be touring Toronto and Niagara Falls and gave my detailed itinerary. BTW The boxes for reason for travel, and finances were not checked. Travel history was not mentioned as a reason anywhere. Sadly it seems they just didnt want to give a visa.

well it is not like that you must have to prove them that you are stable financially why your cousin is sponsoring you when you can pay your self for everything? they didn't mention travel history but they can better you apply for CIAPS notes and then consider to apply again as you are i guess single that might be a concern for officer that you have no strong ties at back home to come back Good Luck
