Hi,

My uncle made an application from india for trv which is refused. He planned to visit his nephew in canada who is holding Canada PR.

Uncle is having a very good uk immigration history and currently has a valid uk visa too. He planned to visit canada first and then uk.

He submitted the same documents as he did for uk visa. His refusal states:

1.not satisfied that you will leave canada based on the purpose of visit.

2. Not satisfied based on your personal assets and financial status.

Documents submitted:

Sponsors invitation letter, passport, pr card, bank statement, work contract, internet bill.

Uncles documents: bank statements, fixed deposit letters, property papers, sale receipts, his family's passport, children's school letter, itinerary showing visit to canada and then uk, uk visas.

Can you please guide us on what additional documents we should submit in next application.

Thanks

Nothing seems obvious and might have to do with details of your case.

Lack of employment, lack of enough assets to show home ties, recent travel history can be factors to improve on.
Did you provide a fixed travel itinerary?

Thanks subodhp for replying.

He's an agriculturist and has provided his income tax returns for 5 years showing income of more than Rs.6,00,000. Also submitted sale receipts which match bank statement.

Hes shown property papers with translation.

We did gave a brief itinerary showing he will be staying in canada for 3 weeks and then visiting uk as he has a valid uk visa too.

Did we have to provide flight tickets?

What else can we improve on? He's a genuine visitor, visited UK many times. Surely that should be a positive factor.

Yes immigration officials love seeing a concrete plan including return flight tickets. Your property can be a home to.
The income of 6lakhs per annum is not a lot considering an international trip will easily set you back by 1-2 lakhs. If you have more funds to show in home country that will help the case.
Unfortunately with a prior refusal your application will be scrutinised more closely this time.
My suspicion (and I am a random stranger on internet) is that a return flight ticket (India Canada UK) with more funds at home would be needed based on rejection reasons

We have shown 42,000 CAD in total. 21,000 cad bank balance and 21,000 fixed deposits. Also sent property papers but i guess need CA financial report to clearly show the assets.

It is really unfortunate that someone who has been obeying uk immigration laws for nearly 20 years been refused canada visa.

Do not buy tickets until you have your visa. An itinerary or potential booking is fine.

Has your uncle visited the arak for tourism recently? 3 weeks was also likely too long. 2 -2,5 weeks would have been better. Since your uncle is able to be gone for so long after his Canadian and UK travels his ties to India are not as strong. Maybe this is due to the off season for farming. He could explain that is why he is able to leave.
