Hi everyone,
I would just like to know if I have TRV approval chances based on my situation.
My partner (who is a Canadian Citizen) and I are going to get married in December. The plan is, I'm going there, stay for at least 2-3 weeks, meet his family and fly back here together for the wedding.
I have applied twice for TRV but both got refused.
I have two invitation letters coming from him and his mom stating that I will be staying with them, meals and transpo will also be provided.
- I've been to Hongkong, Singapore, Taiwan and Japan.
- I was a student with 18 units left (failed to declare this in the IMM5257 form but explained it in the cover letter all documents regarding my schooling were submitted in "other documents") and unemployed.
- I only had 170K on my bank and my online baking business was my only source of income.
Because of the travel restrictions, my boyfriend never got the chance to fly here again. We are in a relationship for more than two years already by this time. Same thing with my first application two invitations letters coming from my boyfriend and his mom were submitted.
- I was still a student who had 3 units left to graduate. I have a part time job at a BPO company (up to now) and opt not to have a full-time employment until I am able to finish my schooling and pass my licensure exam.
- Aside from my part time job, we also have a lotto oulet under my name that just have just opened 3 months before the application. Money on my bank was around 390K this time with consistent transactions and no big amount was deposited.
- I have provided a detailed LOE and answered all the grounds for refusal. I've mentioned that my boyfriend has no way to visit PH because of the PH travel restrictions and since Canada borders are already open for tourists, I'll be the one to visit instead and finally meet his family of course.
