I am in a similar situation. Why is it harmful to get a letter from OB or doctor ?

Doctors know very little about immigration and often use terms that would raise concern with IRCC. Also unless there are additional medical complications pregnancy is not really considered a medical issue.

Hi,

My parents visa was rejected. We tried to do a reconsideration appeal but the decision still remain rejected. We even added medical documents as I am pregnant (6 months) along with other required documents but still it was rejected on the basis of “Officer not satisfied that my parents will return to their home country, and also insufficient funds. Although , we showed more than sufficient funds and a net worth certificate. I don’t know what to do in this case, should I reapply if so what strategy should we use to ensure maximum chances of approval.

We even hired a consultant for this but it did not help.

What did they show that they will return to home country? How much did they show in personal bank statements? How long was visit? What did you say about your pregnancy?

Your pregnancy shows to IRCC that they may overstay. Also doesn't help their application as they need to show that they will leave and have the funds to stay. If PR, consider supervisa.
