Hi there,
I am planning to visit canada in the month of june this year with my parents. I am 29 years old an never married.
My sister who is living in canada as student, having college convocation in june. Therefore she'd like to invite us for the event and she has already requested the college to issue the invitation letters for family.
I'd like to add that i am working as a security guard in DUBAI since february 2017. The company is offering me holidays of 2 months and the convocation falls in that period. That's why i also wanted to visit with my family to attend the event. As far as ITR is concerned, i file no ITR.
Additionally I'd like to say that my company has already issued me the NOC and salary slips in support of my visit to canada which can show that i am a regular employee of the company and will return to the country after the convocation event of my sister.
I can afford all the expenses of my stay in canada including my accommodation and food.
I request your suggestion on my case if it is possible for me to get the visitor visa.

1. Approved leave of two months (while it could be as stated in your work contract), could be seen as a reason to overstay for your visa application. You would want to keep your visit to 3-4 weeks max.

2. Your chances of getting a TRV approval would depend on your work contract/immigration status in the UAE + your ties to the UAE and your home country + your financial situation + your previous travel history, etc

Hi there,
Thank you for your reply.
I think you misunderstood about my duration of stay in canada.
The leave i was telling you about was from my company in Dubai. I'll get the leave of 2 months but my canadian stay will not be exceeded from 3 weeks which will be mentioned in my NOC issued by the company i am working in.
I'd like to add that i have no previous travel history other than to Dubai (i travelled 2 years before from india).
My contract of work is upto February, 2020. Which can show that i have to return to the country.
I have the salary slips and bank statements of the duration required by the embassy.
Please tell me about the liquid amount i need to have in my bank account in accordance of my visa approval.
On the basis of my queries, may you please suggest me whether i should file my visa or not. If you need any other information, please feel free to ask me.
