Visitor Visa queries

Hello,

Can someone provide an insight to the following queries on visitor visa?

a.What is a recommended funds to show in the account if my father is planning to visit us for 3 months?I mean to say the funds in my father's bank account
b.Do the visitors need to undergo medicals before their visa can be approved? CIC has not specified anything clearly regarding the same and it seems people do get medicals randomly when applying for visitor visa
c.I will be applying for multiple entry visa and wanted to check if the CiC processing/scrutiny changes for single vs multiple entry visas?

My father has visited Canada once 2 years back as a visitor and stayed for 4 moths.

Then why do you ask? You surely know the procedure.... any specific reasons?

I am not very current with the latest going on w.r.t visitor visa's and unfortunately CIC is also not very clear on these points in its application process.
Hence I wanted to gain some insight on my queries from the experience of our fellow members here.

Experiences are not good as each case is different. You are better with your past experience. Anyway...

a) 1 thousand per week
b) There is no rule of thumb. All depends in your specifics.
c) You can't apply for M or S, CIC will decide which one to give you based on your case.
