Visitor visa queries with spouse PR application in process

Hi all,
My spouse pr application was received at SYDNEY NS office on 25th March but i haven't got AOR1 yet. I am the PA and husband of Canadian PR. So thinking of applying for TRV. I am working full time here in a bank in India so my question is how much are the chances of approval if i apply? I am going to apply with the help of a consultant.

Nobody will be able to tell you your chances. As you have an active PR application, your chances of approval are probably low - even if you apply through a consultant. You would simply not be seen as a true visitor to Canada.

That being said, you can certainly try - anything could happen.
