Visitor Visa Processing Time - Chennai

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone knows the current visitor visa processing time for Chennai. I applied for my mother-in-law on June 14th and she completed her biometrics on June 18th but there has been no movement whatsoever on her application.

My brother applied for the same visitor visa from San Francisco, California and it was approved within 2 weeks.

I would really appreciate it if anyone could share the current timeline for visa processing and stamping in India. I was hoping to have her over for the summer but now it seems like a distant dream.

Processing can take months. Would compare to others applying from India. Either people are processed quickly mainly by AI or months because the TRV is being precessed manually.
