Hi guys,

I've been in Canada since 2011, and currently working with work permit. my PR application is on the process now. I just got married, and My wife is in Thailand now. Can you guys advise which one is easier to bring her to Canada between Visitor Visa or Spouse open work permit?

She's working for a bank in Thailand, and pregnant. We just want to give birth in Canada, not in Thailand.

So you want to bring her to deliver in Canada? How much money have you saved for this regard? It is expected that you show at least 10K Canadian, but 20K-30K are preferred in case of complications.

If you want to charge tax payers for your wife's delivery then you will need to apply for spousal open work permit.
