My 3 year old son is in Canada and his visit visa period is going to expire in one month. I tried to extend online. But on the MYCIC site there is no option to extend visitor visa. There is only option to apply for visit visa.

Please help.

I followed that link and did everything but in the MYCIC page there is no option to extend visitor visa.

If parents are here in Canada on visitor visa and their 6 months time period is ending in 20 days.

If We applying for their extension now, it might take longer to get it processed.

So can they still stay here in Canada while their extension is in process(even their 6 month time period is over).

1. Yes, it is called "implied status", valid until a decision is made on the visitor extension.
 
hi there,

My 3 year old daughter is in canada on visitor visa and her 6 months time period has been completed. Under visa restoration option,i can apply for her status back within 90 days.

can someone please help me out with the restoration process in detail for my 3 year old daughter.
