How important is it to show a home ownership of current residential address, besides other properties(agricultural and business- commercial) for the tourist application from India?

Will it affect the application if you dont own the place you currently live in ?

I think home ownership is less important than employment and family ties (If are an adult, family ties refers to your spouse and dependent children). So, in the above case, even if the applicant doesn't own the place they currently lives, the chance of getting a positive result is more higher if the applicant has a decent salary and/or spouse and dependent children leaving behind in the home country.

Strong ties. Also depends how much she earns through self-employment.

How old are they and have they done substantial traveling to other countries like US, UK, Australia, etc. Are they a the legal guardian of the 18 year old sibling? If so I would include the legal paperwork indicating that they are a legal guardian. That would create a tie to their home country.

She’s 33 and her brother is 18 yrs old. No, they haven’t been to any other country besides Canada but it’s been 8 years since they last visited.
They do not have legal guardianship as it was never really required.
